Spectrum provided early planning, budgeting, and comprehensive construction management services for the conversion of four existing rooms to dedicated GI and procedure rooms in the Mountain Perioperative Suite at Seattle Children’s Hospital Main Campus.
During the early programming stages, Spectrum collaborated with Children’s Infection Prevention, Perioperative leadership, and the design team to develop a GI/procedural suite layout that met both operational needs and budget requirements. The project also introduced an innovative metal wall panel system in the procedural rooms to enhance durability and meet the client’s heightened infection prevention goals. Spectrum led the design and construction process, working closely with clinical operational teams to ensure the smooth delivery of the new rooms. Several simulations were conducted prior to the project’s completion to incorporate clinical feedback and ensure efficient operational flow. The rooms were delivered on time and within budget, addressing a critical need for Children’s Hospital.
