Cedar Apartments is a six-story apartment-style student housing complex located on the University of Washington’s main Seattle campus. As one of four projects finished as part of the University of Washington’s West Campus Housing Phase I, Cedar provides 346 beds and an additional 126 parking stalls. Unlike other housing options in the West Campus Village, Cedar serves only upperclassmen and graduate students.
While the apartments are two independent buildings, they share a public alley. The open-center building design offers spaces to relax, study and socialize. Cedar is a mix of two and four bedroom apartments and studios which offer fully-furnished kitchens and a shared bathroom for every two bedrooms. Cedar also allows students an option to sub-license their rooms if they will be away from campus for a quarter during the agreement period.
