7000 Campus Living is Shoreline Community College’s first student housing project, featuring 249 beds.
In November of 2015, Shoreline Community College (SCC) hired Spectrum to conduct a feasibility study for the creation of a student residential community. After the completion of the feasibility study, Spectrum was hired as the development manager to oversee the development of a 249-bed student housing facility transforming the formerly commuter campus into a living-learning community. Spectrum worked closely with SCC, the Washington State Department of Enterprise Services (DES) and the office of the state treasurer to secure financing through the issuance of state certificate of participation (COP) bonds.
