Northwest Kidney Centers has opened a new dialysis clinic in the Yesler Terrace Neighborhood.
Spectrum led the effort to build a new dialysis center for 46 patients, which includes seven home-training suites and support space for chronic kidney disease research and administration. Spectrum’s role encompassed site selection, due diligence, issuing the RFP for the sale of an existing property, selecting and managing the design team, overseeing entitlement, construction management, and providing owner occupancy support.
The design of this flagship dialysis center prioritizes patient experience, quality of care, and staff satisfaction, while fostering a strong connection with the broader First Hill community. This is the fifth project that Spectrum has led for Northwest Kidney Centers, including both adaptive remodels of existing clinics and ground-up new construction.
Northwest Kidney Centers, the first dialysis clinic in the United States, has been serving patients since 1962. We are proud to help them reach more people each year, improving the lives of many.
